At my local convenience store, I always say “안녕하세요” when I enter.
But the staff never replies. Not even a nod.
At first I thought they were busy. But this happened like... 7 times now.
Then I saw a Korean customer walk in—and the staff immediately said “안녕하세요~!” with a smile. Why not me?
It’s small, but it hurts. I’m trying to fit in.
