I cried in the hospital because no one explained anything to me. > Issue

I had severe stomach pain and went to the ER in Seoul alone.
 My Korean isn’t perfect, but I can understand basic stuff. Still, the doctor and nurses just kept talking around me, not to me.
They never told me what was going on.
 I had to google my own diagnosis.
 Even when they gave me a shot, they didn’t explain what it was for.
I felt like a ghost. I cried silently on the hospital bed.
 Is it because I’m a foreigner?
