Mijin, a long-established restaurant in the Gwanghwamun area since 1952, specializes in Korean cold buckwheat noodles. It offers a soy sauce broth with a stronger flavor than Japanese soba tsuyu and chewier buckwheat noodles. The broth and noodles are produced directly in the factory operated in the basement of the restaurant and served to customers right away. A full jug of cold broth and the buckwheat noodles that are generously provided to each table can be adjusted according to taste. Buckwheat pancakes filled with bean sprouts, tofu, fresh kimchi, and pork filling are also popular menu items at this restaurant, and they are also sold in half-portions.

In my opinion, 'Mijin' is the best place to experience traditional Korean food.
